SOUNDING ROCKET
A uniquely safe single-stage vehicle for microgravity experiments and atmospheric research. Its built-in-house hybrid rocket motor uses paraffin and liquid oxygen, which makes it the first European sounding rocket that exploits such combination of propellants. It has a thrust of 75 kN (sea level) and the rocket can reach 250 km and lift payloads of up to 300 kg. Onboard two-stage parachute recovery system, that is capable of payload recovery of up to 700 kg of mass.
